3 Self-Made Billionaires Give Us #CareerSpark

A few weeks ago I shared 7 Inspirational Quotes to Give YOU #CareerSpark. I came across these 3 quotes and think it’s a great, positive way to end the week.

It’s important to be willing to make mistakes. The worst thing that can happen is you become memorable. Sara Blakely, Founder of Spanx

#CareerSpark: Don’t live in a constant state of worry that you may be wrong or that you may fail. Take (calculated) risks and be bold!

Don’t compare yourself with anyone in this world. If you do so, you are insulting yourself. Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft

#CareerSpark: You are unique. Don’t make that list that puts you against another – make lists and figure out how to improve yourself based on your dreams and goals.

The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet keep looking. Don’t settle. Steve Jobs, Co-Founder of Apple, Inc. and Pixar.

#CareerSpark: Figure out your niche. Find a way to make a living working in your niche. Don’t be content making money if you are miserable. Locate your ‘work happy’ it exists.

Take time this weekend, as you are with family and friends, to think about your career and if you have enough career spark. Ideally, you should get the same joy from your work that you get from being around loved ones. If you need more career spark, let’s talk!
